Clear aligners provide an esthetic and functional orthodontic solution for patients of all ages, eliminating the need for brackets, wires, or bands. To ensure successful outcomes, properly placed attachments play a crucial role in guiding tooth movement and aligner retention. This CE webinar will equip participants with expert techniques to streamline attachment bonding, troubleshooting, and removal—optimizing the clear aligner experience for both clinicians and patients.

During this live Zoom session, participants will follow a real-time, step-by-step demonstration on placing clear aligner attachments with precision and consistency. We will begin by reviewing the required materials, including templates, composite systems, bonding agents, and curing lights, before moving into live application on a model or typodont. Each stage—template seating, etching or preparation, bonding protocol, composite loading, excess removal, curing, and template removal—will be demonstrated up close with pauses for questions and clarification. Troubleshooting tips will be incorporated throughout, including managing flash, dislodged attachments, poorly seated templates, and reapplication techniques. Attendees will be encouraged to practice along with their own models or kits, creating an interactive, hands-on learning environment. By the end of the session, participants will have the confidence to place attachments accurately, efficiently, and in alignment with clinical protocols for optimal aligner tracking and treatment success.
In this training, we’re diving into Interproximal Reduction (IPR)—a common and essential procedure in orthodontics, especially during clear aligner therapy. I’ll walk you through what IPR is, why it’s used, and how it benefits tooth movement and alignment.
