Posterior provisionals must balance durability and function with speed and efficiency at the chair. Unlike anterior provisionals, which emphasize esthetics, posterior provisionals are focused on proper occlusion, marginal integrity, and strength to withstand chewing forces. This course provides dental assistants and team members with the step-by-step skills to confidently fabricate, trim, and polish posterior provisionals that deliver comfort and function until the final restoration is placed.
