This course provides dental assistants and clinical team members with comprehensive instruction on rubber dam application, from basic armamentarium and clamp selection to advanced troubleshooting techniques.

During this live Zoom session, participants will follow a real-time, step-by-step demonstration of rubber dam placement, beginning with a review of essential instruments and progressing through actual patient simulation. I will guide attendees through clamp selection, hole punching, dam application, frame positioning, and inversion techniques using both single-tooth and quadrant isolation methods. Each stage will be shown live with close-up visuals and paused for questions to ensure full understanding. Troubleshooting tips will be integrated into the demo, including managing torn dams, unstable clamps, moisture control, and challenging anatomy. Participants will be encouraged to have their kits ready to practice alongside the demonstration, creating an interactive, hands-on learning environment.
